Terms And Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. These are the general Terms and Conditions governing your access and use of Phone Zone websites. If you do not agree with them, you should not proceed any further on the sites or with registration. By continuing to use the Sites and/or any of the services shown on the Sites, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Online Store Terms and conditions

  • If the product is unsuitable or faulty, please contact us using “Contact Us” Form.
  • You may also get your product exchanged or returned directly to our Head office by contacting us via the “Contact Us” form online. Once we receive your request we will be in touch within 48 hours.
  • Accessories (cases or any other accessory) sold online comes with a 90 day warranty only.
  • Batteries and chargers come with a 3 months warranty.
  • Refunds will only be given if the product is faulty and a replacement is impossible. A receipt or proof of purchase will be required for any refunds or exchanges – no exceptions.
  • If you have a question about the products on the online store or about the online store in general, please contact us using the “Contact Us” form.
    The Phone Zone Online Store is independent and has no connection with the stores found inside the malls around New Zealand. Any problems with the online store will be handled by the Phone Zone online store support team. You may not collect products bought online in any of our stores unless agreed upon.
  • All products sold on the online store are sold in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are all tax inclusive. All customers have the right to ask for a printed receipt with all purchases.
  • You may cancel your order within 24 hours from when it was placed. For orders purchased using a Credit Card, the applied surcharges will not be refunded.
  • If a customer changes their mind after any purchase and wants a refund, the customer will be charged 10% of the product price for the restocking fee.

While we endeavour to supply accurate information on this site, errors and omissions may occur. Gizmobies Christchurch Ltd trading as Phone Zone does not accept any liability, direct or indirect, for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any advice, opinion, information, representation or omission whether negligent or otherwise, contained on this site. You are solely responsible for the actions you take in reliance on the content on, or accessed, through this site.

Phone Zone reserves the right to make changes to the content on this site at any time and without notice.

To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, Phone Zone makes no warranties in relation to the merchantability, fitness for purpose, freedom from computer virus, accuracy or availability of this web site or any other website.

Ordering goods and services

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods or services.

An order is placed on our website by adding a product to the shopping cart and
proceeding through our checkout process. The checkout process includes giving us delivery and any other relevant details for your order – e.g. delivery address, entering payment information and submitting your order.

We do supply trade quantities and reserve the right to limit the number of an item customers can purchase in a single transaction.

We will send you an email to confirm that we have received and accepted your
order, which indicates that your order has been accepted and you may not cancel it.

Refusing or cancelling orders

In the unlikely event that the goods or services ordered are no longer available we reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order.

We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to have been placed fraudulently.

While we endeavour to ensure that the price and description of goods or services is accurate if there is an error in the process of listing a product or service on our website or a technical error in the processing of your order we reserve the right to refuse or cancel the order.

Our right to cancel orders applies to orders that have been accepted.

Payment options:
We currently accept the following credit cards:

● Credit Card

You can also pay using Q-card or Gem Visa Card.
Phone Zone Gift cards cannot be used for Online shopping.
The LayBuy option is available in-store only. LayBuy is an external service provider and is not a part of Phone Zone. Orders over or equal to $120 will be processed using LayBuy options. Any order value less than $120 will not be processed using LayBuy.

Phone Zone will not take any responsibility for your LayBuy account, acceptance/decline of payment or approval.

All prices listed on www.phonezone.co.nz are in New Zealand dollars and are
inclusive of GST. Please note that we reserve the right to alter prices on our
websites at any time for any reason. Online and in-store pricing may differ.
Our prices do not include import fees, duties, tariffs or other charges which may be payable in relation to an order. If the product has a plane beside the delivery lead time it is sourced from an overseas supplier. The customer may be liable to pay these taxes if they purchase a product or products from our site that are imported from an overseas supplier where their single order exceeds the New Zealand low-value GST threshold.

Delivery and Delivery Charges

At this time we only deliver to New Zealand. We offer free delivery on most of our online items except wholesale orders. Please note that a signature is optional for receiving deliveries. If the goods have not arrived in 7 working days please contact us.

Delivery Period
Delivery lead time for products may vary. Most of our items get delivered within 2-5 business days. Deliveries to rural addresses and deliveries of dangerous goods in some areas may take longer than the time indicated.
To ensure successful delivery, please provide a delivery address where someone will be present during business hours to sign for the receipt of your package.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We recognize that your personal information is confidential and we understand that it is important for you to know how we treat your personal information. Please read our “Privacy Policy” for more information.

Returns
For any return please contact us. Gift cards cannot be returned because the gift card value is activated at the time of purchase. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Gift card usage
Prepaid gift cards are redeemable for goods sold at any of the Phone Zone stores in New Zealand. Lost or stolen cards are the responsibility of the holder. Balance information can be given at any store checkout. Gift cards cannot be used online.

Accessing our service
Other than connecting to the Phone Zone website using a web browser, you may not gain access to Phone Zone website servers. You agree not to disrupt, modify or interfere with our websites or services and their associated software, hardware and servers in any way. You also agree not to modify any content or service on Phone Zone websites. Furthermore, you agree not to use our sites in any inappropriate or unlawful way.
